This is the artwork I created for Day 3 of the Noted Festival as Illustrator in Residence.
The first session was the Girls Write Up event hosted by Noted in partnership with The Stella Prize. I was able to attend Winnie Dunn’s inspiring keynote address on the importance of diverse representation in our literature. I wish I could have stayed for the whole day. xx
The second session I attended was a neat panel on the importance of art in our society, hosted at Smith’s Alternative Bookstore. Speakers were Ellen Harvey, Emma Rose Smith, Grace O’Brien and Neha Kale.
The third session I attended was a neat panel on the good, bad and ugly of writing and editing, hosted at Smith’s Alternative Bookstore. Speakers were Alan Vaarwerk (Kill Your Darlings), Sian Campbell (Scum Magazine) and Irma Gold.
Hope you like them.
