I tend to change my headers based on art or stories I have coming out. This one is a header I designed based on a short story I wrote for the CSFG anthology, The Never Never Land. This is already out in book form, but will be out as an ebook later this year.
The story is called To Look Upon a Dream Tiger and it is a tale of a photographer who journeys into remote Tasmanian wilderness in the hunt for a thylacine and finds something that may or may not be the creature he is after.
I mocked this up as a cover idea for a feminist piece. If anyone is writing a book on modern feminism and thinks it would suit, I am happy to sell the artwork (to date it has not appeared anywhere else but this post).
The piece is CMYK and available in 300dpi form and I can add in the titles and acknowledgements and author name/s as needed.
This is a piece I sketched during a panel at Contact 2016 in Brisbane (the Natcon). It’s just a pencil sketch on a notebook, hence the lines and shreds of writing, but I thought I’d have a crack at colouring it.
I think it turned out pretty neat. Hope you like it.
